Yellow Submarine is of course the 1968 animated musical film inspired by the music of The Beatles, directed by George Dunning.

Captain Fred is an iconic character in the film, and artwork of him is EXTREMELY rare. This is an amazingly huge image of him - he's 8" tall in the aperture of the mat! Drawing is a massive 12.5" x 16" (approximately). There's a slight amount of yellowing from the sun in the aperture. Some crinkling here and there.

The mat measures 20" x 17". The mat is an older one, with some slight sun loss in the black with the exception of about 1/2" inch all the way around where the frame was. Backing board has some indents from older framing.
