The Beatles animated series ran on ABC on Saturday mornings in the late 1960's! Yep - the Beatles were a Saturday morning cartoon! Each episode was centered around different Beatles songs. They Beatles themselves didn't voice the characters, but it did use the recordings of their songs!
This gorgeous 2-panel hand-drawn storyboard is the original storyboard for a scene in the 1967 episode "Tomorrow Never Knows/I've Just Seen a Face" and features THE ACTUAL LYRICS from the song "I've Just Seen A Face" on the board! In addition to rough drawings of all four of the Fab 4 as well! In this episode Ringo loses his voice and the other three send him to a haunted house to "scare" his voice back into him! This scene is actually repeated twice in the cartoon with slight adjustments.
Measures 9 3/8" x 7 3/4" approximately.
