This is an extremely rare hand-painted background of the Turtle's lair in the sewer of New York.  The lair is is seen in nearly every episode.  Backgrounds are some of the rarest animation art.  Only one background is used for hundreds or (in this case) tens of thousands of cels.  Has some wrinkles, etc around the corners/edges. Measures approx 10 1/8" x 14".
