THE NEW SCOOBY DOO MOVIES
Hand-Painted, Original Production Background
from, "The Secret of Shark Island" 1972
by Hanna Barbera

Comes with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity!

Art like this from the early Scooby Doo shows are rare and sought after. When the New Scooby-Doo Movies came around they did something a little different: incorporated stars into the shows! This early background was used in "The Secret of Shark Island" episode that featured Sonny and Cher. It is of the spooky mansion!!!

This background does not have the overlay cel of the foreground cliff, which is quite common - overlay cels tended to be separated from the backgrounds. In addition, this one has some paint sticking to it/paint loss from another piece of art in a roughly vertical line, so it could use very light restoration that removes that paint.

It measures approximately 10.5 x 13.5". We've shown a screen caps of it as it appears in the episode. Note: this purchase is for the background only - it is not for the cels.
