The Great Mouse Detective (released as Basil the Great Mouse Detective in some countries and as The Adventures of the Great Mouse Detective for its 1992 American re-release) is a 1986 American animated mystery adventure film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is based on the children's book series Basil of Baker Street by Eve Titus and Paul Galdone, and was written and directed by John Musker, Dave Michener, Ron Clements, and Burny Mattinson in their feature directorial debuts. 

Like most Great Mouse Detective cels, this was unfortunately laminated by Disney at the time of release. It has some of the associated damage that comes with lamination - in particular in his shoulders (see pics). It is a 16-field cel measuring 15.5" x 12.5". The cel is NOT yellow in real life - that's just the digital picture and we'll update this with a better picture shortly.
