PINOCCHIO
Gorgeous Production-used Lithographic Model Sheet
Of the Concept Art for where Honest John and Gideon Meet Pinocchio
from Walt Disney, 1930's - Used in production of the Feature Film

Comes with a Charles Scott Gallery COA

This is quite a rare find. It is less of a model sheet than a lithograph of a major piece of art made in crafting the feature - likely with the original having been painted by Gustav Tenggren. It is the scene at around the 30 minute mark when Pinocchio meets Honest John (J. Worthington Foulfellow) and Gideon. Right when they begin singing "An Actor's Life for Me." You can see the early versions of each of the characters in the art.
Very few lithographs were made at the time of production for use in creating the feature - often to plan the feature, keep things consistent (across animators) through the life of production of a film or show. They're also often used to set tone, etc. These WERE used, so there is wear. The edges have wrinkled with time, as can be seen in the pictures. Also the lithograph has been mounted with staples to a larger sheet, as was common.

Lithograph measures 11" x 14". Sheet it is mounted on measures 12.5" x 15.5". We'll include a Charles Scott Gallery COA.
