Wendell Washer was one of the amazing animators who spent his life creating the shows and features we loved as children, working for Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Filmation, Marvel and more. We were fortunate enough to acquire a large portion of the animation material from his estate.

And Wendell worked on JUNGLE CUBS!

He seems mainly to have done work on the opening titles, but he may also have done more. And we have only 2 of the original drawings he made while in production for Jungle Cubs, along with 4 storyboards. The drawings are raw and development sketches on 8.5” x 11” paper while the storyboard drawings are on Disney Storyboard paper. This is one of the drawings! These are from his personal files and were used by him in production.

It measures approx. 8.5" x 14". It is done in graphite. It is marked "out" because it may have been cut.
