John Dempsey was called "the best still-affordable painter you have never heard of" in the Washington University journal "The Common Reader," in a 2024 article by Best American writer John Griswold. He often works in Pop Art and Abstract Expressionism but no form is beyond his talents. You'll even find a splash of graffiti style in much of his work.
Done on Bristol board, "Kiss Me In Blue" is one of a series of these graffiti-style works done by Mr. Dempsey. He's done editions in Blue, Pink and Lime Green. He's done each color 5 times. It measures approximately 27.5" x 32". Signed by the artist.
