Jiminy Cricket Walt Disney Production Animation Cel 1950's Art Corner C-JL

JIMINY CRICKET
Original Production Animation Cel
From the 1950's
Originally Sold at Disney's Art Corner Store!

With a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity

Jiminy Cricket, best known as Pinocchio's conscience, continued on into the cast of The Mickey Mouse Club where he piqued the curiosity of Mouseketeers with his encyclopedic knowledge and musical "I'm No Fool" and "Human Animal" segments! Even after the show's end, the educational shorts continued to be viewed in school classrooms and on The Wonderful World of Color.

What's wonderful is that this is actually a "Disney Art Corner" cel setup that was originally sold at the theme park - there was a store where they sold these now rare treasures. This one still has the original gold label on the back from the store.

The cel is in rough condition with quite a bit of wear - paint cracks, separation, etc. The mat appears original - they were very inexpensive mats. Mat size measures approx. 9" x 12".
