JERRY LEWIS
Hand-Painted, Screen-Used Original Production Animation Background
from Filmation, 1970
(NOTE: the "copyright" notice is only on the digital photo, not on the actual background)
Comes with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity
From the Filmation TV show, "Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down"
And this is a rare hand-painted production background used on camera to make the show. Cels are placed over a background and photographed as a single frame that then appear on the TV. AND backgrounds are much more rare than cels or drawings, as there is only one background for a few hundred cels or more!
Most backgrounds measure approx 10.5" x 14" but can vary larger or smaller horizontally. Has minor production wear. Some have an overlay cel and some of the overlay cels have that "oily" look some Filmation cels get.
Note: purchasing these original items from the making of the cartoons does not convey any rights to the images or characters on the cels/drawings. They remain with the original copyright holders.
Actually used in the making of the cartoon and great for collectors or to hang on your wall as nostalgic decoration!
