Original Production Animation Model Cel
of Grandfather and Gruffle
from Hanna Barbera's 1982 feature

Matted and ready to frame, with a Charles Scott Gallery COA!

From the 1982 Hanna Barbera feature Heidi's Song. It's is scuffed, and has some edge issues and paint loss, but it's a nice one of them with "shadow" colors! Comes with a color laser background from the show. We'll include a Charles Scott Gallery COA.

We'll mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply double paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork. NOTE: we mat your art immediately upon purchase, so if you wish us to leave it un-matted please message us immediately.

HEIDI’S SONG (1982): Based on the novel Heidi by Johanna Spyri. According to Leonard Maltin, “…Hanna and Barbera pointed to this production as their commitment to quality animation (in contrast to their Saturday Morning product)…” Of Mice and Magic, A History of American Animated Cartoons. And it shows. The detail of the artwork in this feature is amazing. Every cel and every character and background is reminiscent of the work of Disney as opposed to Hanna Barbera. The drawings and backgrounds in particular are even more detailed than the final cels.

Actually used in the making of the cartoon and great for collectors or to hang on your wall as nostalgic decoration! For more information about collecting animation art, please visit our website at
