This is an incredibly beautiful production-used background from the 1943 short, Figaro and Cleo. We've included a screen cap above from where it appears in this, the first of the shorts with Figaro after Pinocchio. This short was directed by Jack Kinney and was based on a scene that was cut from Pinocchio. The background was done by Don DaGradi. And it's a large one - measuring 15.5" x 12.5" overall.
It is signed on the back by the artist, Don DaGradi and has the production code for Figaro and Cleo (2292). The outer edges have old tape residue on the front, but it does not affect the image/paint.
