DONALD DUCK
Original Production Animation Cel Drawing
from 1934 "The Dognapper"
by Walt Disney
Actually used in the cartoon! AND DONALD DUCK'S THIRD APPEARANCE!
Comes with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity!
An AMAZING drawing of DONALD DUCK (and only the 3rd short he ever appeared in) These early ones are quite rare. It is from Walt Disney's The Dognapper from 1934. It was directed by David Hand. Legendary animators who worked on this short included Les Clark, and Bill Roberts and more! AND this was way back when Walt Disney Himself still voices Mickey!
The sheet is 2-peghole animation paper and is toned warm yellow with age. It's from around the :59 mark (depending on the version) - we grabbed a screen cap from the section (see above - he's only partially in frame). Measures 9.5" x 12".
We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork. NOTE: in most cases we have not yet mounted the art in a mat, so if you wish to have us leave it unmounted let us know IMMEDIATELY when you make the purchase, as we will often mat it within minutes.
SHIPPING COST INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING AND INSURANCE!
Actually used in the making of the cartoon and great for collectors or to hang on your wall as nostalgic decoration!
