These cels are now difficult to obtain, as good ones actually come up very infrequently for sale or auction now.  And we have a PRIZE one here.  From the scene in which the Grinch is stealing the items from the houses of Whoville!  He finds a cane he likes and uses in his theft!  From around the 13:38 mark (depending on your version) - we've shown a screen capture of the moment it is used in the film.

It is signed by the legendary director Chuck Jones and has the Linda Jones Enterprises seal.  The cel has some residue along the top from an earlier mounting.  It is approximately 10.5" x 12.5".   We've paired it with a screen-grab color laser-print background from the scene (laser print background is legal-sized paper).  Note: the reflection you see in the upper left corner of the matted view is from our scanner, it is not on the cel. There is some line loss from age (it is over 50 years old!). Cel measures approx. 10.5" x 12.5".

We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials that come in contact with your artwork, though our matting is not custom matting. NOTE: in most cases we have not yet mounted the art in a mat, so if you wish to have us leave it unmounted let us know IMMEDIATELY when you make the purchase, as we will often mat it within minutes.
