CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST
1963 Harvey Comics
Hand-lined, Hand-inked Original Production Cel
USED TO MAKE THE CARTOON!
Matted and ready to frame, with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity
Casper was co-created in the 1930's by the creator of Felix the Cat, but then sold quickly thereafter to Famous Studios and then eventually to Harvey Comics. We're not sure which episode this cel is from, but it came with a stack of Wendy cels from the last episode of the 1963 The New Casper Cartoon Show, "Wendy's Wish." See pictures for condition (or contact us for more questions) - some of these older cels have issues.
We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork. NOTE: in most cases we have not yet mounted the art in a mat, so if you wish to have us leave it unmounted let us know IMMEDIATELY when you make the purchase, as we will often mat it within minutes.
