This is the ORIGINAL INK ART for the Daily Comic Strip, drawn and signed by Edwina Dumm (considered the first woman editorial cartoonist in the US) used to produce the newspaper daily comic strip. Created in ink over graphite on board. These strips vary in size from 7 14" x 23" to as small as 6" x 17".
Each one has handling and edge wear, faint toning in the margins, text and image paste ups (some which are loose), pinholes, stains, corner bumps, and nicks along the edges on some. Some have notes and corrections in graphite, and some have stamps on the back for the GMA Service, Inc. Fronts are all dated (without year).
