Billy Tokyo was called "the best still-affordable painter you have never heard of" in the Washington University journal "The Common Reader," in a 2024 article by Best American writer John Griswold. He often works in Pop Art and Abstract Expressionism but no form is beyond his talents. You'll even find a splash of graffiti style in much of his work.
"Stop Violence" is a wonderful statement piece with the whimsey of Billy Tokyo. It is spraypaint using stencils, on archival paper. It measures approximately 22" x 30".
