Marc Davis (1913 - 2000) is legendary. He is one of the most renowned Disney animation artists of all time. Most Disney artists are also, of course skilled fine artists. What folks don't know is that Disney offered life drawing classes to their artists in 1932 and Davis, attended along with his fellow artists. Davis would later TEACH a life drawing class at Chouinard Art Institute for 17 years.

Painting is signed, on paper. Some light age toning with old mounting tape on the back top, the upper left corner is bent - only in the margin - it does not affect the art. There is a yellow toning square on the back - as if it were exposed to the sun - but it does not affect the front.

 Measures approximately 12" x 19" - our picture does not show the height of the top or bottom margins.
