Marc Davis (1913 - 2000) is legendary. He is one of the most renowned Disney animation artists of all time. Most Disney artists are also, of course skilled fine artists. What folks don't know is that Disney offered life drawing classes to their artists in 1932 and Davis, attended along with his fellow artists. Davis would later TEACH a life drawing class at Chouinard Art Institute for 17 years.

Painting is signed, on paper. Some light age toning with old mounting tape on the back top, crease in the lower margin (below the art), and 3 small edge tears - 2 on right and 1 on left - none of which impact the art. Also a slightly wavy bump in the upper right edge - again not affecting art. NOTE: Lastly, there are faint, vertical yellow lines on the right and left side front that are slightly into the art - they are more prominent in person than in the digital scan.

Measures approximately 12" x 19" - our picture does not show the height of the top or bottom margins.
