This wonderful, long sold-out limited edition cel was called ‘Alice in Wonderland – Cheshire Cat,” numbered AP1/15, released as part of The Golden Age of Animation Series. The hand-painted cel, which shows the Cheshire Cat flashing a broad smile in a bright full-length pose, was created using original production materials provided by the Disney Animation Research Library from Disney’s 1951 feature film Alice in Wonderland as reference; this image comes from Sequence 2069, Scene 7.5 of the film. The cel image measures 7 x 4.75, with overall dimensions of 19" x 13". The lower left corner bears a golden ‘Disney Hand Painted’ seal. 

The cel is missing it's background print and original COA, so we're included our Gallery Letter of Authenticity as well as matting this with a reproduction (color laser print) of the background that originally accompanied it. However, note that our matting is inexpensive and covers the seal, so if you don't want us to mat it please let us know before purchasing as we will mat it immediately when you buy it. Matting measures 11" x 14".

ALSO INCLUDES the numbered Giclee print of the original drawing from the production used to make the limited edition.
