In December 1966 The Monkees released their single I’m a Believer. Within two days of release the song went gold making everyone a believer in the imaginary TV band. The famous lyrics, “Then I saw her face, now I’m a believer. Not a trace of doubt in my mind. I’m in love. I’m a believer, I couldn’t leave her if I tried,” would go on to be sung throughout generations and today continues to introduce new fans to the legendary band.
