THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER
Unused Original Production Rough Animation Drawing
from the 1990 Walt Disney Feature
with Wilbur
Comes with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity
The Rescuers Down under was of course the follow-up to The Rescuers (1977). This rough production drawing features, of course, Wilbur who is Orville's brother . The drawings from The Rescuers Down Under are quite rare because the feature was the first to be made completely using Disney's CAPS system - so there are no cels from the movie, other than a few they made to sell. We think this is from an unused sequence in the hospital.
The drawing is a 16-field drawing (12.5 x 16.5"). It has production holes and Disney notices on the production strip.
