THE MASK Animated Series

ULTRA RARE - Original Animation Production Cel
from New Line Cinema 1995
"The Mask is Always Greener on the Other Side" episode

Charles Scott Gallery Special Collection*

Matted and ready to frame with a New Line Cinema Letter of Authenticity

THIS IS ONLY ONE OF TWO cels that have ever been released and that we've seen in 25 years! Based on the 1994 cartoon of the same name with Jim Carrey, a network television cartoon was created and ran from 1995-1997 on CBS. BUT strangely, the artwork was NEVER released. The ONLY 2 cels we've seen in 25 odd years are the 2 that came through New Line Cinema's online auction in 1999.

The accompanying Letter of Authenticity tells it all: that this is from the 1995 episode, "The Mask is Always Greener on the Other Side" and that this original animation cel was used in the creation of the episode. You will receive the letter (sans the blue lettering of course) along with the cel which also has the seal.

We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. Note: we only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork.

*Owning a gallery and being a collector presents a particular problem: you have first pick of all the art that comes though the door. Inevitably you set aside some of the "best" art for yourself and for Gallery display. This is not great for business, of course. So I (Charles here) have decided to put up some of the art from our Gallery collection for sale. These items will be listed at the "We don't want to sell it" price (thanks to American Pickers) under the "Charles Scott Gallery Special Collection*" heading. Prices are high, and you may not agree that these are "the best," as I have particular tastes, but never-the-less, should someone else want these enough, they are here for the taking! If not, they stay in the collection.

Actually used in the making of the show and great for collectors or to hang on your wall as nostalgic decoration! For more information about collecting animation art, please visit our website at
