Animated cartoons and features used to be created by hand - each and every frame.  And most of this artwork was simple meant to be used and thrown away - so much of it is quite rare - and all of it is unique!  Buying animation art allows you to own a one-of-a-kind piece of art.  Some were used in earlier stages of production and some can be seen on-screen!

The Little Mermaid was part of the Disney renaissance, with the feature releasing in 1989. Shortly after, in 1992, Disney released the television cartoon based on the movie, as they did with all of their features at the time.  This is a rare cel setup - in that it has Ariel and one of the other beloved main characters, Flounder.  Even better, it comes with a hand-painted production background - we haven't verified it's from the same show but we believe it is.

The cel is standard 12-field while the background is 15" x 10.5".  Comes with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity.
