Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Limited Edition Animation Sericel of 500 Walt Disney Signed by Marc Davis 1988 OHC
SNOW WHITE and the SEVEN DWARFS
HUGE Limited Edition Animation Sericel From Walt Disney, 1988
with Snow White and the Prince
SIGNED by Legendary Animator MARC DAVIS (faded)
Comes with a Studio Seal and a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity
This is an amazing piece! A HUGE sericel. It was released by Disney company in 1988 and we have one source that says it was distributed only to the first 500 "Grand Plan" guests at the newly opened Grand Floridian Hotel in Disneyworld Florida in 1988. So, we believe this is an edition of 500. It depicts the scene when the Prince and Snow White first meet, sequence 2A, scene 20. Originally animated by Grim Natwick and Milt Kahl.
Even better, it has been SIGNED by one of Disney's "Nine Old Men," legendary animator Marc Davis. NOTE: the signature has faded somewhat.
This piece also comes with a gorgeous print background that is even bigger than the sericel! NOTE: it was VERY difficult to get a good picture of this as it is so huge, so even though the overall photo looks as if it is colored strangely and/or has lines from where we stitched the photos together, it is in great condition in real life with some minor waviness to the extreme edges of the background print.
