POPEYE the SAILOR
original production cel (of his head)
From the 1960 King Features Cartoon,
"Childhood Daze"

Matted and ready to frame, with a Charles Scott Gallery COA!

This is a VINTAGE, 1960 hand-inked cel of Popeye's head. It is from the "Childhood Daze" episode from King Features, 1960. It is the episode where Popeye is turned into a child - but strangely retains his adult head and voice. Yep - strange. Anyway, we've paired it with a color laser line-drawing of his body at that point. We've posted a picture of the scene that the cel is from (it's not exact). The episode is out on the web if you wish to find this cel! We'll include a Charles Scott Gallery COA.

We've mounted this gorgeous piece of hand-painted art in an acid-free, 4-ply double paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. Note: we only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork.
