Walt Disney's
1939 DONALD DUCK AND PLUTO'S "BEACH PICNIC"

Original animation production drawing
MATTED AND READY TO FRAME, COA

NICE RARE FIND! 75 years old!! May even have been done by Shamus Culhane!

From the 1939 Walt Disney short with Pluto and Donald Duck entitled, "Beach Picnic." Half way through a tribe of "indian" ants spot their picnic and go for it! This is the leader and his first moments of spying out the feast (we've included a few screen shots of the scene). The short was directed by Clyde Geronimi and the writers were Carl Barks and Jack Hannah! Shamus Culhane was one of the animators. The drawing is in great shape. We'll also include a Charles Scott Gallery COA. View the full short on you-tube. Note: the matted photo is closest to the color, a warm slightly-aged yellow.

Special thanks to Peter Adamakos from Disada.com for identifying this scene.

We've mounted this gorgeous piece of hand-drawn art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. Note: we only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork.

Actually used in the making of the cartoon and great for collectors or to hang on your wall as nostalgic decoration! For more information about collecting animation art, please visit our website at www.charlesscottgallery.com
